The All-India Caravan Tours is a unique initiative consisting of three caravans situated at Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur, each equipped with two LCD TVs, a dining room, microwave, minibar and bathroom. With a capacity of seven persons each, these caravans are built with specialized recreational facilities and an expandable shed with outdoor furniture provisions. In order to provide further impetus to the business travel market within Madhya Pradesh, the state is aggressively striving to promote investment in convention centers built to international standards. It has prioritized two centres with a seating capacity of more than 1000 at Bhopal and Jabalpur and an additional two centres of 500 plus capacity at Jabalpur and Gwalior. To complete the package of amenities for business travelers, the state offers complete exemption of luxury tax, sales tax and entertainment tax for investors in business hotels and suites.
