By Train : Bhopal ( BPL ) and Habibganj ( HBJ ) railway stations are the nearest railway stations to Bhimbetka.

By Road : Bhimbetka lies on NH46 which connects Bhopal with Hoshangabad. The roads are in excellent condition with regular traffic. It is advisable to book a cab from Bhopal to visit Bhimbhetka and club it with Bhojpur / Sanchi / Satpura National Park or Pachmarhi.
