Visit “Rajwada” which was constructed by the Holkars, who belonged to the Maratha Dynasty, around two centuries ago. It is a seven storied structure which is located near the Chhatris and serves as an excellent example of royal grandeur and architectural skills. The Rajwada Palace fascinate locals as well as travelers who visit Indore, and it is not uncommon to find huge crowds at the palace at all times of the day. A huge garden greets you at the entrance, and the path then leads on to the beautifully crafted palace, which never fails to mesmerize tourists.

Nestled between the crowded streets of the Kajuri Bazar and facing the main square of the city, the Rajwada palace also faces a well-maintained garden that houses a statue of Queen Ahilya Bai, an artificial waterfall and some beautiful fountains. Even after all these years, the palace continues to be one of the most famous tourist spots in Indore and is one of the oldest structures too.

Also visit the Lal Bagh Palace, Khajrana Ganesh temple & indulge yourself in shopping as well treating yourself at the gastronomical capital of India by visiting the night market of “Chappan Dukan” & “Sarafa”.

Pick up | 0930 Hrs | Khajrana Ganesh temple

We pick you from your hotel, hop in our vehicle & proceed to explore Indore.

We start the day with a spiritual trip to Khajrana Ganesh temple.

The temple, tributed to Lord Ganesha, The Lord of Obstacles, was built in 1735 by Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar. The devotees circling around temple and tie a thread to pray Lord Ganesha for successfully completion of his work.

The idol was found in a well and in 1735, it was taken out from the well and a temple was established in 1735 by Ahilyabai Holkar belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Maratha Empire.

It is said that the ancient statue in the temple statue was seen in a dream of a local Pandit Mangal Bhatt. After this dream, the queen Ahilya Bai Holkar excavated and installed the idol from under the ground and installed it. From where the statue was removed, there is a well, which is right in front of the temple.

It is believed that all the wishes will be fulfilled after praying here. Large numbers of devotees gather here on Wednesdays and Sundays to offer their reverence and prayers.

1100 Hrs | Lal Bagh Palace

From Khajrana temple, we proceed to visit The Lal Bagh Palace, the erstwhile residence of the ruler of Indore.
Build by Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar during 1886-1921, reflects the taste & the luxurious lifestyle of the rulers. Now turned into a museum, the Palace is fortified by huge gates resembling that of the Buckingham Palace & carries the Holkar state emblem which states “He who tries will succeed”.

1300 Hrs | Kanch Ka Mandir

From Lal Bagh Palace, we proceed to the famed Kanch Ka Mandir.
literally meaning “Temple of Glass”, is a famous Jain temple in Indore, built by Sir Seth Hukumchand Jain. The construction began sometime around 1903.

1400 Hrs | Lunch

We will take you to a premium hotel for a short break & enjoy a buffet lunch.

1530 Hrs | Rajwada

Located at one of the most busiest intersection of the city, Rajwada is a historical palace in Indore city. It was built by the Holkars of the Maratha Empire about two centuries ago.

1700 Hrs | Break

We drop you at your hotel for a short break.

1900 Hrs | Chappan Dukan & Sarafa

Indore is acclaimed as the gastronomic capital of India.
We take you to Chappan Dukan ( 56 shops ) where you can taste the famous Shikhanji.
Later, proceed to Sarafa to taste the renouned Bhutte ki Khees,Jalebi & Rabdi,etc.
