The Land of ‘Mogli’
There are four distinct seasons in the area which is distinctly common to Central india – the summer from March to the second week of June (till the first shower of monsoon), the rainy season from the second week of June to almost first week of September and the winter from November to February.
The post monsoon period from middle of September to October has its own characteristics and has specific importance in connection with the flora, fauna, habitat and animal relationship.
To explore the forests, the best time to visit Pench National Park is from Oct till June.
Pench being situated in Central India is subjected to extreme and tropical weather. Month of January may also witness sub-zero temperatures and frost. Monsoon arrives in the second week of June.
